Did you know that in all of Zeewolde there is not one traffic light? In Zeewolde is basically everything accessible on foot or by bike. Several elementary schools, pre- and after-school care, high school, but also the supermarket and gym are at most a few minutes cycling. The sports fields and sports hall, where a wide variety of sports are practiced as well as a golf course are almost around the corner. With a short walk you can walk into the Horsterwold, the largest contiguous deciduous forest in Western Europe, including the unique nature reserve the Stille Kern! Here you can cycle, skate, horseback ride and hike endlessly. Dogs can come along on a leash, but there are also sections of forest where they can sniff around freely.
